We can provide all stakeholders with information about the Anaklia port project. Such a statement made today the Minister of Economy Natia Turnava, while commenting on an interview with US Congressman Adam Kizinger.

“The Government of Georgia accepts Kizinger"s opinion on the Anaklia project being of strategic importance.

I think there is no ambiguity. Anaklia Port is a strategic project, and we offer a large contribution to potential investors, as we did earlier. We have noted it several times. All this includes land transfer, financial support, commitment to building various infrastructures, legal support, our liberal approach to deadlines, and others. We have not yet received a detailed technical project, what parameters will be used to build the port”, - concluded the Minister.

US Congressman Adam Kinzinger called on the Georgian Government to apply for US investments in the construction of Anaklia port as soon as possible.
