Kawasaki syndrome is diagnosed in Armenia 4-year-old child, who had coronavirus

A 4-year-old child with coronavirus has been diagnosed with Kawasaki syndrome in Armenia. Such a statement made the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

According to the Minister “several countries reported growth in the number of children with Kawasaki syndrome, and some researchers link this to COVID-19”.

Torosyan pointed out that Armenia “purchased immunoglobulin drugs specifically for the treatment of this syndrome”.

He called on citizens to strictly follow recommendations of Ministry of Health.
