One of the draft resolutions of the European Parliament, dated April 22, mentioned Georgia’s Russian-occupied region of Abkhazia as a separate state.

Among the authors of the resolution are MEPs Michael Gahler, Rasa Juknevičienė, Andrius Kubilius.

Various political groups in the European Parliament have prepared several draft resolutions regarding the Georgian bill on the transparency of foreign influence.

The authors of the document also urge the Georgian Government to withdraw the bill and immediately release the imprisoned former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
