The situation with coronavirus in the country is getting worse, and the statistics of recent days are critical. Such a statement made the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

“It is mandatory to wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus in the country. In the last 24 hours, 697 new cases of coronavirus detected in the country. The total number of those with COVID-19 reaches 11 221.

Such figures indicate that there are people in Armenia who need timely medical care but cannot have it. The pandemic reached a point where the health care system can no longer cope with the problem. There are about 20 000 people in Armenia infected who do not know about their diagnosis. They are the main source of infection and need to be identified”, - said the Head of the Government of Armenia.
