National exams for university entrants will start on July 6 in Georgia and will end on July 25. Exams for Master’s degree studies will begin on August 1 and will end on August 4. Such a statement was released by the Georgian Education Ministry. 

According to the recommendations only 10 entrants will be allowed in a room. Tables will stand in 2 meters part and there will be a special, transparent barrier in front of each table. Individuals will have to wear face masks, as well as invigilators. Air conditioners will be used only before the beginning of the exams. During the exams the air conditioners will be switched off. 

As the Head of the Center for Disease Control, if the entrant has symptoms a few days before the exam, he/she should consult primary healthcare or family doctor, and on the advice of a doctor, he/she will be tested.

“If COVID-19 is confirmed, the entrant will not be allowed at the exams. Therefore, if an entrant has symptoms a few days before the exam, of course, he/she should consult a primary healthcare or family doctor, and on the advice of a doctor, he/she will be referred to the PCR testing free of charges”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
