One person detained in Gori for theft

The officers of Shida kartli Main Division of Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained R.M. (DoB 1992) in Gori for theft.

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainee illegally penetrated in the apartment owned by Georgian citizen, where he appropriated jewelry, TV and household appliances. Police detained R.M. when he was in the process of loading stolen items in the vehicle.

Law enforcers seized the stolen items as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft, article 177, III part, sub-paragraph “C” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
