For the first time since February 26, no new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Georgia over the past 24 hours. Such a statement made the Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

According to Marina Ezugbaia, the number of recovering people has increased by 20 bringing the total number to 724.

“Of the 20 recovered patients, 10 are from our center. All of them were discharged from the clinic yesterday. At this stage, 31 confirmed patients are being treated in our hospital. We also have 1 serious patient, whose dynamics are positive, and I hope that from tomorrow he will be removed from the list of serious cases”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

The country has had 879 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
