Greek police detain 2 Georgian citizens for robberies

The Greek police detained two Georgian citizens for house robberies and selling stolen items in Rethymno.

According to local media, one of the detainees, a 38-year-old man, had robbed 11 residential houses from May 25 to June 23, 2020. The offender stole jewelry and other items worth about USD 16,678 and handed them over to his female accomplice.

The law enforcers have seized the stolen items from the houses of the detainees and returned some of them to the owners.
