In Kakheti 10-month-old baby tested positive for coronavirus

Coronavirus confirmed in 10-month-old baby in Kakheti. According to Neli Khizanishvili, the head of the Kakheti branch of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the child is from the village of Karajala.

As Khizanishvili said, the minor was in a children’s hospital in Telavi. Doctors tested the baby on the virus due to the symptoms typical of COVID-19.

The source of the infection cannot be determined yet. Epidemiologists are working in the village.
