Two people detained for drug offences – the MIA

Police detained two individuals for the purchase, possession and sale of drugs.

4 200 pills of MDMA and other types of drugs, including hashish, cocaine and marijuana have been confiscated from the apartments of the detainees in Tbilisi.

Police have also seized a large amount of money from the apartments – USD 7,200, EURO 3,520, RUB 376,200 and LIRA 585.

According to investigation, the detainees, I.KH., and G.D., owned online drugstores through which they were selling so-called club drugs.

The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
