Out of 10 new COVID-19 cases, 5 are the contacts of confirmed cases, 3 are imported, 2 are from quarantine area. Such a statement made today the Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“10 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia, thus the number of infected people has increased to 1,049. The number of recoveries increased by 3 – up to 903. Out of 10 new COVID-19 cases, 5 are the contacts of confirmed cases, 3 are imported, 2 are from quarantine area”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

She also talked about the condition of the patients in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and noted that at this stage there are 26 COVID-patients.
