According to the medical director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, seven out of nine new cases of coronavirus infection have been imported, two cases are under investigation.

“Yesterday there were 1 197 cases in the country, nine new cases of infection added and now we have 1 206. The number of recovered people increased by 13, up to 987. Currently we have 240 active cases. Seven of the nine new cases are imported, three of them are truck drivers. Two new cases are being investigated”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

She added that 38 infected people are still receiving treatment at the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.
