The majority of 44 recovered from coronavirus patients are Georgian soldiers brought from Afghanistan. Such a statement made today the Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

“The number of people who have recovered has increased by 44, and most of them are military personnel from Afghanistan. According to current data, 194 patients are being treated in COVID-centers. 8 of them are critical”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

Georgia reported 14 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected people to 1264.
