The medical director of the Tbilisi Central Infectious Diseases Hospital clarifies the sources of 5 new coronavirus cases.

“5 new cases were confirmed, overall, currently there are 1341 confirmed cases. The sources of new cases are as follows: 2 are confirmed case contacts, 2 are subject to epidemiological research to determine the source, and one is an imported”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

Totally there are 1 341 cases of COVID-19 in Georgia. 1 092 patients recovered. 7 082 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine while 249 are under observation in hospitals. 41 citizens of Georgia have been transported to the country from abroad for treatment.
