One employee of Aversi Clinic in Rustavi tested positive for COVID-19. Such a statement made the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“Today, we have 20 new and 1568 confirmed cases in the country so far. Of 20 patients, 8 are contacts of infected individuals, 1 is medical staff, 7 are imported cases, of which 4 are truck drivers, while the source of 4 cases is being established. Only 9 people recovered. The recovery rate is still 81.6%. 262 active patients infected with coronavirus are being treated in COVID-centers of Georgia”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

Currently, 270 individuals remain infected with the virus in Georgia.
