The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Emergency Management Service express deepest condolences over the deaths of the victims of the traffic accident near the village of Khabelashvili in Shuakhevi Municipality of Adjara and extend their condolences to the families of the victims. Two of the victims are the employees of the Emergency Management Service of the MIA.

Near the village Khabelashvili, a car accident occurred, during which a vehicle moving on the road allegedly slipped and fell down from the road into the ravine, from a height of about 100 meters. As a result of the incident, 3 people died and 2 were injured.

The injured individuals were taken to a safe place by rescuers, after which ambulance crews rushed them to a medical facility. According to the information available at this time, their lives are no longer in danger.

Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation under the Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. All relevant forensic examinations are appointed.
