Asymptomatic COVID-patients from 18 to 65 years of age with no chronic diseases will be treated in quarantine under the supervision of doctors instead of hospitals. Such a statement made today the Minister of Health.

“There are currently three hotels where patients will be placed under quarantine for treatment. Treatment of patients in quarantine in hotels will be carried out in three big cities – Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi. About 15% of patients will be transferred today from hospital to a hotel in Batumi. There are 600 beds allocated in hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus patient. Out of these beds, 65 per cent are already occupied”, - said Tikaradze.
