Out of 57 new cases of coronavirus, 25 are linked to Adjara. Such a statement made today a Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“The source of 5 infected people is “Dona”, the source of 14 patients is Batumi, the source of 18 patients is contact with confirmed cases. The source of 4 patients is the history of travel to Adjara. 3 patients are imported cases and 2 of them are truck drivers, 5 are medical staff. Epidemiological research is underway for 8 patients in terms of contacts and source identification”, - explained Marina Ezugbaia.
