Catholicos Patriarch Ilia II met with Armenian Ambassador to Georgia.

The meeting took place at the initiative of the Armenian Ambassador and was focused around the military hostilities and the difficult situation in the breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

His Holiness and Beatitude expressed deep sorrow about the civilian casualties and underlined that he prays for quick resolution of the conflict through peaceful means.
