Kindergartens have opened today throughout Georgia except Adjara region and Ozurgeti municipality where kindergartens are still closed because of epidemiological situations.

Out of Tbilisi’s 183 kindergartens, four have not opened as employees of these kindergartens tested positive for the coronavirus.

By order of the Minister of Health, numerous regulations were introduced in our kindergartens to ensure a completely safe environment for children. For example, if a child is in kindergarten and has a temperature, they will be brought to an isolated room. Before entering, children have to conduct thermal screening and sanitize hands. Beds are located in a way to keep distance amongst children.
