We have no remarks about the vaccination plan. Such a statement made today the Public Defender of Georgia after the meeting of the members of the special commission set up to ensure the smooth implementation of the vaccination process with the Head of the Government.
“We assessed the compliance of the priority areas or categories in the plan with the priority groups recognized by the World Health Organization and the UN, and whether the principles that should be considered by international standards at the time of vaccination were taken into account.
This refers to equal access, priority, security, public awareness, etc. We have no comments on the plan regarding human rights standards, but we will monitor the vaccination process and try to provide the public with objective information on all issues related to vaccine safety and the whole process”, - said Nino Lomjaria.
