Representatives of the occupation regime illegally detained a resident of Gugutiantkari. The information is confirmed by the State Security Service.

“On February 2, representatives of the occupation regime illegally detained a resident of the village of Gugutiantkari [Gori municipality], in the occupied area near the village. The hotline has been activated in connection with the incident. The EUMM, as well as international partners, has been informed of the detention.

The illegal detentions significantly worsen the security environment along the occupation line, as well as in the occupied territories, and complicate the daily life of the local population. Active work is underway to release the illegally detained person”, - reads the statement of the State Security Service of Georgia.
