The reports that the dismissal of Catholikos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II will be discussed at the Synod session scheduled for February 11 are just a fantasy. Such a statement made the Head of the public relations department of the Georgian Patriarchate, Archpriest Andria Jagmaidze.

With this comment he responded to the statement of the Association of Religious Experts, which released a statement stating that the resignation of Ilia II will be discussed during the session.

“I will have a big request to journalists, do not ask me questions about the fantasies”, - added Jagmaidze.
