50 000 syringes for vaccination are already in Georgia

Georgia already received 50 000 pieces of 0.3 ml syringes in the form of a donation for coronavirus vaccination.

In order to purchase special syringes for vaccination against the COVID-19, the Ministry of Health actively worked with manufacturing companies authorized by the World Health Organization, including one of the largest Indian companies - Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd.

“Despite the great demand and the created deficit, with the Georgian side’s active involvement, the company is ready for future cooperation”, - reads the statement.

As it known, the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine are due to arrive in Georgia by late February.
