Holy Synod session is over

The sitting of the Holy Synod has ended. 35 high priests were attending the session, chaired by the Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II.

COVID-19 vaccination was among the issues discussed.

According to the head of the public relations service of the Patriarchate, Andria Jagmaidze, the decision of the Holy Synod session will be published by the end of the day.
