On 100th Anniversary of Soviet Occupation, National Flag is lowered to half-staff over the building of the Parliament

To mark the 100th anniversary of soviet occupation, Georgia"s national flag is flown at half-staff over the building of the Parliament.


National flags are also lowered over all administrative buildings.


On February 17, 1921, the 11th army of Soviet Russia annexed Georgia. On February 25, 1921, most of the cadets fighting for Georgia"s independence died heroes on the battlefield.
