According to Shalva Papuashvili, a member of the parliamentary majority, one of the NGOs registered in the European Union will pay bail for Nika Melia

“One of the non-governmental organizations registered in the EU will pay bail for Nika Melia after that he could be released at any time. It is up to Melia to refuse the bail.

As for the amnesty issue, the amnesty would touch upon all cases related to June 20, not only Nika Melia. Accordingly, the amnesty bill would be initiated through appropriate procedures, and all persons associated and charged in connection with June 20 events will be amnestied”, - explained Shalva Papuashvili.
