A pensioner was robbed in the village of Akhalkakhati, Zugdidi Municipality. A woman who was beaten lived alone.

As the locals said, she was tied up for almost 20 hours. Only GEL 80 was taken away. The victim is in serious condition, she is being treated at Zugdidi Referral Hospital.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 179, which stipulates robbery.
