The officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Sh.G. (DoB1984), as a result of operative-investigative activities in Gori.

The detainee is accused of causing serious damage to health on purpose, resulting in loss of life.

The committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person shot Z.R., (DoB 1979) with a firearm, in the town of Gori on June 3 of the current year and fled from the place of crime. The wounded man died shortly after being transferred to the medical facility.

As a result of the personal search held by police, the alleged drug-containing powder and 5 white pills were seized as evidence.

Investigation is in progress under the articles 117 and 260 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
