Ministry of Culture responds to the developments around the literary contest Litera. According to the agency, they do not interfere with the competition.

“This competition is fully organized and conducted by the Writers’ House. The House independently names other representatives. Besides, the Ministry has fully transferred GEL 50 000 to the Writers’ House, which is the amount to be spent on the competition, and this amount will also be managed by the House independently”, - reads the statement.
