Information according to which the draft bill on teachers’ mandatory vaccination is being drawn up is not true. Such a statement was released by the Georgian Ministry of Education.

“In order to create a safe environment in schools, they regularly appeal to teachers to receive COVID vaccines.

Besides, we keep running the vaccination awareness campaign for teachers together with UNICEF. The ministry has always offered teachers help in the vaccination registration process. Vaccination cabinets were also opened for representatives of the education system.

A total of 65% of teachers of schools and school administration employees have already been vaccinated in Georgia”, - reads the statement of the Ministry.
