Mikheil Saakashvili agrees to be transferred to the Gori Military Hospital. Such a statemebt a few minutes ago made his lawyer Nika Gvaramia, after leaving Gldani 18th penitentiary institution.

“He agrees to be transferred to Gori Hospital and will end his hunger strike as soon as he is admitted to Gori Hospital. The hospital was built under Mikheil Saakashvili’s government, and he is aware that it is equipped with the latest medical devices.

It is important for us to know with precision that everything is going well there and that the post-hunger-strike protocol should be written by specialists and there should be a daily report.

He will be taken to Gori hospital today. The former president will be transported later, but I cannot name a specific time because of the security issues.

Mikheil Saakashvili’s personal physician and Mrs. Giuli Alasania will be by his side. We will go to Gori and follow his transportation process closely. When he is moved to the hospital room, we will leave Gori”, - said Nika Gvaramia.
