Giorgi Menabde, accused of premeditated murder of David Saralidze, sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison

Giorgi Menabde, who stands accused of premeditated murder of David Saralidze, was found guilty by the court and sentenced to 14 years in prison.

However, according to the Juvenile Justice Code, it was reduced by a quarter, to 10 years and 6 months.

David Dadiani, the lawyer of Giorgi Menabde, said that they will appeal this decision.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Giorgi Menabde on April 15 for the murder of David Saralidze. The investigation established that together with Giorgi Janashia and Mikheil Kalandia he injured David Saralidze, with the intention of killing him.
