The Roads Department has imposed restrictions on several sections of road due to heavy snow. The restrictions are as follows:

Trailers and semi-trailers are prohibited on the km15-km38 section of the Gomi – Sachkhere – Chiatura - Zestaponi highway.
Movement of semi-trailers and trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri - Kobi section of the eastern Mtskheta-Stepantsminda - Larsi route.
Movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Nakerala Pass section of the Kutaisi – Tkibuli - Ambrolauri highway and on the Sachkhere - Oni highway.
Trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats are prohibited on Koda – Partskhisi – Tsalka - Manglisi road (Paravani Pass).
The movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Kutaisi – Tskaltubo – Tsageri – Lentekhi - Lasdili section (km88-km125). Movement of other types of vehicles is permitted using anti-skid chains. Vehicles with 2 or more tandem-drive axles are allowed.
