The officers of the Main Division for Combating Drug Trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative activities, arrested R.A. (DoB1977) for illegal purchase and storage of drugs in especially large quantities.

The committed crime envisions from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.

Law enforcement officers arrested R.A. in Bolnisi municipality, near the village of Tsurtavi. During his personal search, the police seized 1 kilogram and 500 grams of "Heroin" drug as evidence.

Investigation is underway on the fact of illegal purchase and storage of drugs in especially large quantities under Article 260, Part VI of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
