Four employees of the Tbilisi Transport Company will be officially charged today. They have been detained with charges of bribery and attempted fraud.

According to the State Security Service of Georgia, the individuals have been accused of receiving money from various people in exchange for fulfilling their official rights and duties.

“At this stage, several dozen persons have been identified who have transferred money for official service patronage jointly or separately to the employees of the transport company.

The members of the arrested group received a large amount of illegal income, which they shared among themselves. The investigation is led by the anti-corruption agency”, - reads the statement of the SSSG.
