Minister of Health is actively working to establish a drug quality laboratory in the country. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“Minister Zurab Azarashvili will travel to Turkey today to meet with a colleague and bring even more benefits. Dozens of different types of medicines have already been submitted to the Ministry for registration, this process will be accelerated very soon, so that all medicines can be replaced in time, to enable the population to have a choice to buy cheap medicines.

We said from the beginning that the main requirement would be quality. This task is achieved. All medicines that are brought in are of GMP standard.

Currently, Minister Azarashvili is actively working to establish a drug quality laboratory in the country, so that all medicines that will be produced or imported in Georgia be of high quality. We will control this process as much as possible”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
