Tbilisi City Hall continues the housing and homelessness program. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“We have already started to take certain steps in this direction and we are already providing dwelling spaces for families who are left without housing. There are 400 such families for whom the City Hall has been renting housing spaces for years and we pay millions of GEL in rent every year to keep these people off the streets and provide them with housing.

We are fulfilling the pre-election promise that no homeless Tbilisian should be left without municipal housing. All will be satisfied with the spaces. Today we will have the opportunity to transfer housing space to another family. In addition, during the year, 60 families will be satisfied. In the coming years, we will provide housing for all 400 families. Those who have a similar problem can apply for homeless status to their District Administration Units, the Municipal Healthcare Department, where they will receive accurate information about the documents to be submitted for status obtaining”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
