Aluda Zviadauri, who died in Ukraine, to be buried today with military honors

A 42-year-old Georgian soldier killed in Ukraine will be buried with military honors in Sagarejo municipality today.

The body of Aluda Zviadauri was transferred to his house in the village of Gombori on June 26. He will be buried at the ancestral cemetery at 14:00.

Zviadauri was shot by the occupants in Severodontsek, on the front line, while trying to save the wounded. He is the 16th Georgian to die in the Russia-Ukraine war.
