Emergency Management Service warns the population of heat-linked fires

High temperature and wind in the mountainous areas in Georgia are expected to hold out in the coming days, surging the risk of forest and field fires. The relevant statement was released by the Emergency Management Service.

The agency warns the citizens not to light fires near forests or fields, and not to leave fire pits unattended.

“In case of smoke or fire, the agency urges the citizens to show high civic responsibility and call 112”, - reads the statement.
