A memorandum of cooperation on strengthening local democracy and citizens" involvement was signed between the representatives of the Council of Europe and fifteen municipalities of Georgia.

The document was signed within the framework of the international conference.

The parties discussed the practice of deliberative democracy in Georgia, as well as the experience of civil engagement at the local and international levels.
