Tbilisi City Court refused to release Mikheil Saakashvili from his sentence, nor did it postpone it.

Judge Giorgi Arevadze announced the mentioned decision. With this, he did not satisfy the petition of former president’s lawyers.

This decision of the judge was followed by the dissatisfaction of the relatives and supporters of the Mikheil Saakashvili.

The third president of Georgia has been in jail for over a year.
