Bakhmut offensive was a meat grinder for Russia - White House

United States believes that Russian casualties during their attempted offensive in Bakhmut area cost them a high price.

This was stated during a telephone briefing by White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby, informs Censor.NЕТ.

“This offensive (on Bakhmut) has actually cost Russia terribly much. And, as I said, it has become a meat grinder for them in a way”, - the White House official said.

He noted that the estimated figures announced by Washington about Russian casualties near Bakhmut in early May were accurate. However, according to him, since then, the Russians have been losing even more troops every day.
