13-year-old girl was kidnapped and sexually assaulted in Kareli

In one of the villages of Kareli municipality, a 22-year-old man kidnapped a minor girl in order to marry her and sexually assaulted her.

The girl is 13 years old. She was visiting her grandmother in Kareli. The police have already detained the man.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Article 140 of the Criminal Code.
