All five members of the United National Movement [UNM] faction quit the Sakrebulo of Chiatura.

As they said, the ongoing process in the party preconditioned their decision.

“Due to the current circumstances, we, all members of the UNM Chiatura faction, decided to quit the party because the party failed to unite in this difficult situation. The new management failed to do that, and we believe that the vision we have served and nourished is exhausted. Therefore, if there is no other way, it is better to distance from the situation and fight against the current regime from another platform”, - explained Gogi Chikviladze, Chairman of the faction.
