The employees of Abkhazia Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions detained M.K., (DoB 1991) for domestic violence and threats against a family member.

The committed crime envisions up to 3 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person systematically abused his wife - A.K. (DoB 1989) in the Gali region.

As a result of the actions carried out by law enforcement officers, the accused person was arrested in Zugdidi Municipality.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 126 (1) I part and Article 11 (1) article 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which involves domestic violence and threats against a family member.
