The US condemn the illegal attempts to transfer the lands in the occupied territory of Georgia to Russia. Such a statement made the Spokesperson of the US Department of State.

“Russia’s permanent occupation of 20% of Georgia’s territory undermines Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The United States of America continues to call on Russia to fulfill its obligations under the 2008 ceasefire agreement and the UN Charter”, - said Matthew Miller.
