The strong wind created some problems in different districts of the capital. At several addresses, trees fell, various infrastructures and New Year’s decorations were damaged.

According to the Tbilisi City Hall, the fallen trees fell on several cars and damaged them.

“Together with the representatives of the Emergency Situations Management Service, all the relevant services of the Tbilisi City Hall and the employees of the district administrations have been mobilized since morning and are on the ground. They are working in an emergency mode in order to eliminate the damage and take appropriate measures.

The removal of uprooted trees and tree branches is carried out by “Ecoservice”.
