The Chairman of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, along with First Deputy Chairman Giorgi Chakvetadze, convened with students from David Agmashenebeli University of Georgia.
During the session, MPs discussed the committee"s primary areas of focus with the students. They also briefed the students on legislative adjustments pertaining to public service internships. Notably, as of January 1, 2024, these internships are compensated, and as of November 1, 2022, internships are recognized as work experience.
The MPs engaged in a Q&A session, addressing inquiries from the students.
