As he underlined, tourism is one of the important sectors of Georgia`s economy.

"We already had difficulties in the tourism sector when the conflict in the Middle East began. Naturally, flows decreased from the Middle East, Arab countries, and Israel, and now they want to artificially create a problem regarding Russia and Russian tourists, which they will fail to achieve.

We must be careful; if we do not act, they might achieve success. A large amount of resources is involved - handlers outside, foreign agents inside, parties, party activists, party television channels, everyone is involved in fueling the Russophobic campaign. However, if we stand as firmly as we did back in 2022 - when they demanded that we open a second front, impose sanctions, send volunteer fighters, when they conducted Russophobic campaigns, and when society rose to the occasion - they achieved nothing. Even now, if we all stand together, society, and rise to the occasion, these campaigns will not achieve their goal", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
